Has your scout done ypt?

Every year, our Scouts and registered parents and leaders must complete their Youth Protection Training (YPT). It not only meets a rank requirement, but also facilities what can be a challenging but important conversation for us to have with our kids. Please review the pamphlet in the front of your Scout's handbook with them and mark it is as complete in their ScoutBook account as soon as possible to avoid scrambling to complete it at the end of the year.

Join Us!

Our Council is covering the cost of all new Cub Scouts joining this year. Try Pack 9 for a discounted rate! Contact Rebekah Dickerson at the Leatherstocking Council at 315-735-4437 x217 to join Pack 9 today!

The mission of Scouts America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

THE SCOUT OATH

On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

THE SCOUT LAW
